Privacy policy
In short: we only keep what you type into a form and we use it to reply to you. We do not share it with anyone outside the studio, unless you tick the promotions box.
Who we are

What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site. Depending on the form, that is your name, email, WhatsApp number, Instagram handle, country, the details of what you want, and an optional reference image.
Each submission also records which page you sent it from and, if you arrived through a tagged link, the campaign parameters in that link. We use this to know which pages and channels bring enquiries. It does not identify you.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry — a booking, a private class, a question about an artwork or a print waiting list — and to carry out the work if you go ahead. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Booking forms carry an optional, unticked box: “Send me studio news and offers”. If you tick it, we may also use your email and phone number to show you our ads on Facebook and Instagram. If you leave it unticked, none of that happens. You can change your mind at any time by writing to us.
Who can see it
The studio, and the artist your enquiry is for. Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this site, and notifications are sent to studio email addresses. No one else receives your data, with one exception: if you ticked the promotions box, your email and phone number may be uploaded to Meta to build advertising audiences. Meta receives them hashed, uses them only to match you to your account, and cannot use them for anything else.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if you become a client, to keep a record of the work. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
Write to hola@subleinktattoo.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will reply.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It tells us how many people came, from which country and through which link — not who you are. Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser under Google's privacy policy.
This site also uses the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram). It records that you visited the site and whether you sent an application, so we can measure our ads and show you ours on those platforms. It sets advertising cookies and shares that data with Meta under their privacy policy. If you did not tick the promotions box, we do not send them your name, your email or anything you typed into the form — the pixel only records the visit.
If you prefer to be in none of this, your browser's "do not track" setting, an ad blocker, or private browsing keep you out of both. You can also adjust the ads you see from Meta's ad settings.
On the blackout guide and the hygiene page there are YouTube videos. The one on the guide only loads if you click it; the one on the hygiene page loads with the page, so your browser connects to YouTube even if you never press play. Once you press play, YouTube loads in privacy-enhanced mode and may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Children
The studio does not tattoo anyone under 18, and this site is not aimed at children.
Changes
If we add anything that collects more data, we update this page first.
